Subject to medical approval Pilates is ideal for people recovering from injury, illness, back problems or suffering from any activity that involves repetitive movements. Pilates can assist in injury prevention and provide relief from stress.
We strongly advise you to consult your doctor before beginning any exercise programme during pregnancy. Generally speaking, moderate exercise is safe throughout a normal, healthy pregnancy and many gentle Pilates exercises are appropriate.
